Merck Forest, VT
Oliver and I did a Boy Scout backpack camping trip to Merck Forest in Vermont. It was a few miles east of Salem, NY. 2.5 mile hike in and set up camp, rained almost the whole time. Night time temp was in the mid 30's. Starting to sleet and snow hiking out on Sunday. Oliver did really good hiking with all the gear.

Congratulations Oliver you are now a seasoned camper. I took a group of 8 for a hike to little bald spot in a cold rain Saturday. We all got wet some turned back. It was a wellness weekend at the Stillwater.
I remember backpacking at Merck Forest when I was little. I remember that it was cold when I went, too.
