On Saturday we went up near Chester and cut a nice white fir Christmas tree. Our first real Christmas tree! I thought it would be a struggle to get the tree down but it took Philip about 2 seconds to cut the tree with his bow saw. I didn't even have time to take a good photo. But the tree is lovely.
We decorated with lights and ornaments....
...and of course Philip set up the train track around the tree for the logging train. We are ready for Christmas now!
